What is a personalised cremation?

 

A personal cremation is for people who do not wish to have a traditional funeral service, or to have a large gathering of people. It offers a low-cost funeral that allows you to bid a respectful farewell in a simple and fuss-free way. With a 10-minute service for up to 8 attendees, it gives time for silent reflection, or a family read poem, with a single piece of music to lead into the chapel and to guide you on exit. Your loved one will be conveyed to the crematorium by hearse and in the chapel awaiting your arrival.

• Preparation and personal care including dressing in their own clothing.

• Tutbury oak foil coffin.

• Online memorial obituary notice.

• Transportation to the crematorium in a hearse.

• Local crematorium fee.

• Choice of one piece of music (for entry/ exit only)

• Single still image projected on screen at the crematorium.

• 10 minute service in the chapel.

• Maximum 8 attendees.

• Return of your loved ones ashes to our office after cremation.

Other specialist transport, such as horse drawn carriage, motorcycles, lorries and character vehicles can be arranged with prices upon request.
